NAME

getquota - check user quotas on CCB file systems

SYNOPSIS

getquota

DESCRIPTION

The getquota command outputs information on your quota usage for the CCB file systems. The output will resemble the following:

===============
HOME QUOTA (GB)
===============
/home/d/dtooke quota=10.0 size=5.2 usage=52.0%
===================
PROJECT QUOTAS (TB)
===================
/project/ccbadmin quota=1.0 size=0 usage=0%
/project/sysadmin quota=10.0 size=7.6 usage=76.0%
/project/tsslab quota=86.0 size=75.4 usage=87.6%

Your home quota is for you alone, whereas the project quotas and the usage figures are for the entire project and all users in it.

EXCEEDING YOUR QUOTA

If you exceed your home quota you will not be able to work; you will have to delete some data or move it to a collaboration project. We do not offer additional home quota.

If anyone in a secure collaboration project(7) exceeds the quota then everyone in the project will lose the ability to create more data and your PI will need to pay for more. See accounts(7) for more details on how to do this.

GETTING HELP

You can email the CCB team using the email address help@imm.ox.ac.uk. Using this address ensures your email is logged and assigned a tracking number, and will go to all the core team, which means the appropriate person or people will be able to pick it up.
